Cream sating with a lace overskirt and large red flower. This was the first dress I made. It will always have a special place in my heart.

Made from white batiste cotton. This romper and jacket look beautiful and dignified in all white, but could also be spruced with some colored trim or maybe even a light blue jacket. I will have to keep that in mind next time.

This dress is made with ivory crepe-back satin. The flowered ribbon trim uses ivory flowers, but I would love to try this dress in white with colored flowers.

My First Official Order!
I just bought the material for my first official order. The fabric was a little more expensive than I originally planned (sorry Jen) but I just couldn't put down the silk dupioni. It was just too beautiful.
The plan for this dress is to take cues from the mother's wedding dress. She originally wanted to use her dress as the actual material but just couldn't do it in the end. So, I am incorporating a gold ribbon like the one in Jen's wedding dress and adding an eggplant colored flower on the bodice as well as eggplant velvet ribbon on the sleeves. I am really excited to get this fabric cut and start working!
